About Us
LSAM Food Pantry is a community-based nonprofit serving Hunt County residents in need. Guided by compassion and faith, we provide food and essential support to families facing hardship. With the help of dedicated volunteers, donors, and local partners, we work to ease hunger, strengthen our community, and bring hope to our neighbors.
Meet Our Board Members
Dian Wright
Executive Director
Dian started volunteering at LASM food pantry in 2013, working Monday through Friday. Dian also volunteers at Hunt County Kids and assists when time allows. In 2022, Dian started doing the office administration including helping with utility assistance and in 2023 started helping with distribution of food to clients. Dian became the Executive director in 2024.
Phil Paschal
Treasurer
Phil has been supporting Lake Area Shared Ministries Food Pantry since moving into the community in early 2000. Phil started volunteering in 2017 during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday food distribution. Phil retired from the oil industry in 2021 and began volunteering weekly on Wednesdays and then the following year worked Wednesdays and Fridays. Phil now works on Fridays and helps with the food delivery on Thursdays. Phil joined the board as Treasurer in early 2025.
Lois Rayl
Secretary
Lois’s career before joining LASM Food Pantry was a 30 year tenure in the healthcare industry. Lois started at LASM in 2021 and works on Tuesdays recording client tickets into the North Texas Food Bank system. She often is a backup for other volunteers who are absent during the week. Lois joined the board as Secretary of LASM in 2024.
